"What a great place!  Casita de Cruzita was perfect for the week.  It is so roomy with such great decor that it makes you feel so at home.  It is centrally located in the middle of College Station, and so easy to find.  Everyone that visited us commented on how wonderful it was.  If anyone you know has traveled with a softball team will tell you how costly it is and how you hate spending so much time in a hotel.  A standard hotel cost us about $700.00 per week per couple this cost us right at $500.00 for the week.  We were in College Station for 18U Nationals which is the last tournament of the year for fast pitch softball by the time you get this far you are so tired and just want to go home.  Renting Casita de Cruzita was so wonderful that we did not want to leave when it was over.  We cooked every night and did not have to eat fastfood and spend the extra money on restaurants.  On the way back home, we all were trying to find what weekend we would have available to go back.  What a wonderful experience we have found a new way to travel to see softball.  Thanks again for sharing your wonderful place with us."

"Dear Victoria, Our family enjoyed the stay at your charming vacation home this past weekend. My 87 year old Father appreciated the sweet birthday card you left him. My father was the birthday guest of honor, but there were 6 August birthdays in our family that we group celebrated together! In addition to the birthday dinner, we visited, my niece and nephew whom are current A&M students and live in a home in Shenendoah, and attended two days of intense soccer competition at the Veteran’s Park in College Station. My 13 year old son Evan has been visiting B/CS since he was an infant, but this was the first time for a soccer tournament! He enjoyed himself and his team did well!

I orchestrated several get togethers around town, and we all rallied to support Evan at his games in the extreme heat. It was so nice to have a comfy, clean, homey, place to get back to in between all of the festivities. My Dad had to skip a few outings in the heat so he stayed “home” and enjoyed the big TV and watched the Olympics. When that was not on, he was watching other sports he usually keeps up with. But he did venture out to most of the events and always enjoys when I gather the children and grandchildren together. I am the family Event Planner and Uber Organizer.

In the Casita we all got to be together, cook, wash soccer uniforms, laugh, eat, and then take off again for another mini-event.

My extended family and I all enjoyed the Casita and the opportunity to gather in one centralized homey environment, as opposed to several much less charming and hospitable motel rooms.  If soccer tournaments are scheduled every summer in August we hope to return every year!"

“Victoria, Evacuees for Hurricane Gustav turned into a mini vacation when we entered the dimension called “the doll house zone”.  While watching the storm on the huge TV, we stayed in our PJs all day without leaving the house.  And then, being a true Longhorn fan, we had no desire to shop. This house is truly a sweet retreat and we loved every minute of it. We will remember our precious time spent for years to come!
